I'll admit, an overnight business trip sometimes feels like an indulgence when your a stay-at-home mother, freelance contributor who works from her kitchen table and dairy farmers wife.
Kuddos goes out to my hubby, for tending to the housework, meals, homework and more, solo. The kids think of him as super dad, I'm sure. He served up whatever was in stock in the freezer. Chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese and yogurt. The kids thought this was the "absolute best dinner ever!"
The best part for me...well, aside of the quite soak in the tub, warm bed curled up to watching the Olympics without interruption, is returning back home because I'm welcomed with open arms, tight hugs and sweet kisses. The simple things that goes unappreciated more days than not, our appreciated, for a second, and I ravish it!
